We have a number of strategies in place to build capability and develop talent throughout our business, including regular one-on-ones with leaders and our performance review process. We also undertake Organisational Resource Planning (ORP) to provide us with a view of talent individuals across all levels, functions and business units within the organisation. ORP is the core competency feedback and succession planning process within Campbell Arnott’s. It helps leaders make sure they have the right players with the required capabilities in their teams, as well as providing individuals with feedback on competency strengths and development opportunities. This information is used to identify people’s development plans which includes a focus on functional technical skills and success skills. Success skills is our core skills training for developing people across all levels of the business, from team members through to senior leaders and the program focuses on building capability across our core competency areas. People identified as key talent during the ORP process can access our accelerated development programs, which are supplemented with coaching and other learning interventions.
