Andrew

National Account Manager - Woolworths

1. What factors motivated your decision to join Campbell Arnott’s?

The experience of working for a large branded company provided a great opportunity to build my resume while I was completing my university studies. I have been lucky to stay with Campbell Arnott’s for 13 years. I have always enjoyed Arnott’s biscuits and knew that it would be more motivating to sell our products than any other FMCG brand.

2. How do you feel valued at Campbell Arnott’s?

Campbell Arnott’s have a focussed approach to professional development, and I personally have benefited from training and formal and informal mentoring opportunities.

The career planning process has allowed me to enjoy many different roles and I have clear goals and direction on my future within the organisation. The support from my Manager ensures that I am encouraged to do my best everyday.

Campbell Arnott’s is a fun place to work, and I have been very lucky to form long term friendships with people I have worked with over the years.

3. How have you made a difference to our organisation in the past twelve months?

In the last 12 months I have taken on a new role managing the Woolworth’s business. By listening to our customer’s concerns, understanding their expectations and building trust, our team has successfully exceeded Woolworths’ expectations, creating excitement, and generating some great wins for both parties.

What made this so rewarding was that the Woolworths team contributed to the analysis and ideas that made the plan successful. I was particularly proud of our newest team member who added so much support and value.

4. Which of Campbell Arnott’s icon brands would you like a lifetime supply of?

Whenever you meet someone for the first time and tell them you work for Campbell Arnott’s, you are always met with, “Wow my favourite biscuit is ------.“

My favourite biscuit is Monte Carlo. I love the taste and crunch of the biscuit with the jam and cream. It reminds me of my grandmother who also loved them and the stories she would tell me of growing up in a family shop selling Arnott’s biscuits from large tins supplied by the company.
