Catherine

Product Development Manager

1. What factors motivated your decision to join Campbell Arnott’s?

As I was based in the UK at the time of my application, it was really important that I moved to an organisation which was the right cultural fit for me and one that offered opportunities for personal development and progression in the longer term.

The professionalism and support from the recruiting team and willingness to share the house values and Campbell’s Leadership model helped me gain an insight in to the culture and ultimately to make the decision to move to Australia for the position.

2. How do you feel valued at Campbell Arnott’s?

I feel valued when I am given opportunities for personal development. I’ve been in the business for three and a half years and have had three different roles, each of which has enabled me to learn and develop. Most recently I have had the opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning processes and become a member of the Choc Sweet Category Team.

I have also been recognised through ‘Extraordinary people, extraordinary moments’ awards for recent projects.

3. How have you made a difference to our organisation in the past twelve months?

I am a great believer in achieving through team work and have encouraged my direct reports to offer greater support for each other during product trials and product launches. I have also encouraged closer working relationships with our supply chain colleagues and there is no doubt that collectively we have executed our new product launches with excellence.

4. Which of Campbell Arnott’s icon brands would you like a lifetime supply of?

There are days when I just don’t stop eating biscuits (for work purposes of course!). As I am responsible for Sweet and Chocolate product development, I prefer to eat savoury food outside of work. My choice would be Vita-Weat Crackers. I love cooking at home and the multigrain variety are perfect with my homemade humous!
