1. What factors motivated your decision to join Campbell Arnott’s?
My decision to apply for the manufacturing graduate role over 10 years ago was based on the description of the role itself but also because of how familiar the Arnott’s brand is and the intrigue to be working in a biscuit bakery – of which I knew nothing about.
My decision to take the role was based on the feel about the place during the interview process – the process was very thorough so you felt confident that the company was serious about remaining successful but also had a welcoming feel to it.
2. How do you feel valued at Campbell Arnott’s?
I feel valued at Campbell Arnott’s everyday through being encouraged to do my job to the best of my ability, being supported by my team of peers around the Asia-Pacific network and the site team I work with everyday. People care so much about me and the company they work for, that they provide recognition when they see good things and feedback where they see I can learn and improve.
3. How have you made a difference to our organisation in the past twelve months?
In the past 12 months I’ve played a key role in forming a new manufacturing leadership team with existing, promoted and new team members. After completing a challenging year with ups and downs, the team and I sat down for two days to review our place in the world, what the site needed from us and how we could most effectively work together. At the end of the two days when we reviewed our outcomes, I have never felt more supported and aligned with a team in my working career. I was proud as the leader of the team that I helped create the direction and environment for us to achieve so much in a year and to set ourselves up to go from strength to strength in the next year.
4. Which of Campbell Arnott’s icon brands would you like a lifetime supply of?
Premier Choc Chip Cookie. Not only are they fantastically full of chocolate but with a stay at home Dad, they are a life saver when the clock hits 4pm and the kids start going a little crazy. Indulging in a Premier Choc Chip (and occasionally sharing with the kids) is the bit of sanity in my husband’s day that gets him through. Happy Home = Happy Mum!!
